Last weekend I was in Istria, again.
What can I say? I love to travel, love the sea and I love recording all that beautiful places I visit. This time I was in Savicenta. The name is actually Svetvincenat and it means St. Vincent, but locals just call it Savicenta.
This week they had “dance & non-verbal theatre festival”, but I didn’t attend any of the workshops or performances. In fact, I stayed in village near this little town enjoying “Stancija 1904″ – residential house and Apartments for vacation in Istria.
The owners are two great persons: she was born the same day same month and same year as I am, (she is one really eager and very nice person, hehe). Her husband is from Switzerland but it looks like he adapted very well to Istrian-Croatian climate.
So, If you are in Croatia somewhere in Istria region near Rovinj, Porec or Pula – do not miss the opportunity to check this great vacation destination!
Here’s a short video on admittance in “Stancija 1904″

All that blogs I started last year (graphics-illustrations is the oldest one, was 1 year old on 07/07/07, but I wasn’t in the mood to celebrate) had only one purpose: to get my husband and me a house.
As you know, I don’t own apartment or a house. Bank owns our small apartment in Rovinj (we bought it with the bank loan), what supposed to be a gallery where I wanted to sell my hand made souvenirs (that failed due to my health issues and not so good position in the city, and now this apartment is for sale – look here for more)
We live in the attic (very nicely refurbished apartment) of the 120 years old building for what we are paying 800 Euros/month.
Enough lamentation.
This Friday I Want a house, it can be a small, ruined… it can be in another city or even country. It can be on another continent!
I googled today through Istria and some of my favorite places there, and here’s the few house that I really like (take some time to check them out, because they are great!):
Of course, I would like to live in something gorgeous as this one in Visnjan or this one in Sveti Lovrec, but that’s just a pure imagination!
S*
PS: keep your fingers crossed for my numbers on the next Lottery draw :)
