Shelter pet photography : images of shelter dogs from today’s photoshoot for Sapica No Kill Animal Shelter
Each face has a story. Some of the dogs were shy, some curious, others just tired from waiting – but when the light fell softly across their eyes, I saw something I’ll never forget.
These shelter dogs portraits were taken during my volunteer work at Sapica Animal Rescue in Zaprešić. I wanted to show more than fur and features – I wanted to capture emotion: the spark of hope that refuses to fade.
Every portrait holds a fragment of resilience, a reflection of what it means to keep believing. Looking at them now, I still feel that silent question in their gaze – “Will someone finally see me?”
