Meet my Crazy Cat Ladies – the wonderful, unstoppable women of SOS Cat Rescue.
They’re the reason so many cats have a second chance. They feed them, rescue them, bottle-feed kittens at 3 AM, clean endless litter boxes, and still somehow show up the next morning with a smile (and usually a cat hair or two stuck to it).
I took these photos for SOS Cat Rescue Group, a 100% non-profit, non-governmental organization founded in Zagreb, Croatia, back in March 2014.
They were one of the first NGOs in Croatia dedicated exclusively to helping abandoned, abused, injured, and stray cats in the city – and they’re still doing it today, fueled only by love, teamwork, and caffeine.
These are not your typical Crazy Cat Ladies – they’re extraordinary women with big hearts and even bigger patience. They patch up the broken, give names to the forgotten, and never give up.
